Stephen Rhind-Tutt
President
Stephen began his experience in electronic publishing in the 1980s. He has been responsible for the development, sales, and management of more than 300 electronic products, including SilverPlatter's range of medical databases and the Gale Group's Infotrac line. Before founding Alexander Street Press, he was President of Chadwyck-Healey Inc., where he oversaw the release of fifteen new web products.
Eileen Lawrence
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Eileen has worked with academic libraries since 1980. She is one of the founders of Alexander Street Press, where she has helped to create more than two dozen Alexander Street databases. She built the Alexander Street sales and marketing teams and has executed consortium, regional, and national purchasing agreements around the world. Her commitment to creative pricing models and universal access has made it possible for users at all library types to access to previously out-of-reach content.
Andrew Hall
Managing Director, International
Andrew joined Alexander Street Press in 2006 following nearly 10 years of sales roles wit
hin Chadwyck-Healey/ProQuest – most recently as Sales Director for the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe. He has been in the Publishing industry since graduating in Economics from the University of Northumbria in the early 1990’s and, accordingly, brings a wealth of electronic database and library experience to the Managing Director role. Andrew is responsible for all aspects of Alexander Street Press business outside of the Americas. Greg Urquhart
Director of Business Development
Greg joined Alexander Street in December 2006.  He has more than ten years’ experience in academic publishing, most recently with the journals Science and Nature.  Greg earned his B.A. in English and Philosophy from Mary Washington College and his M.B.A. from Georgetown University.  His goal is to keep the terms “starving” and “artist” away from each other.

 

 



Keith Allen
Director of Internal Sales
Keith joined Alexander Street Press in September 2007. He brings nearly 15 years in library sales with industry leaders including OCLC, CQ Press, and Chadwyck-Healey. In addition to leading the Inside Sales team he also serves and strategic program manager for consortia, networks, and third-party distributors. He brings his prior experiences from the airline industry and Disney to working with our customers and takes an active role in all customer-facing functions within our company. Keith holds a B.S. degree from West Virginia University and an M.B.A. from Otterbein College.

Pat Carlson
Vice President, Production
Pat has experience in information management reaching back to the 1980s, including cataloging, indexing, and the development of thesauri for financial, legislative, news, legal, and military libraries. She developed and edited the full-text literary databases and managed the indexing for several projects at the Chadwyck-Healey . She is the former library manager at Morgan Guaranty Trust, librarian of the National Federation of Independent Business, and a former editor for the H.W. Wilson Company.

Peter Cooper
Vice President, Product Management
Peter joined Alexander Street Press in 2006, having previously served as editorial director of Ad Fontes, LLC. He received his B.A. in English literature from the University of Chicago in 1984 and later attended Princeton Theological Seminary, where he received his M.Div. in church history in 1991. He has held a variety of editorial positions with the Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group in Lanham, MD and the Biblical Archaeology Society in Washington, D.C. He has also taught English, history, and Latin at the secondary school level.

Janice Cronin
Chief Financial Officer
Janice comes to Alexander Street from Ernst & Young, where she consulted in Oracle-based financial systems. Her financial experience started in the mid 1990s with high-technology companies, including BayNetworks, SilverPlatter Information, and Metrocall. As Controller at Metrocall, she created and led a team responsible for managing more than $250 million in annual revenues.

Graham Carter Dimmock
Vice President, Development
Graham has been developing information systems since the early 1970s. He has worked with a wide range of database producers, including Access Innovations, Inc., Transmedia, and OnLine Design Solutions, Ltd.

Andrea Eastman-Mullins
Director of Software Marketing
Andrea has more than 10 years of experience designing technology for learning and research. Working for SIRS, Chadwyck-Healey, ProQuest, and the University of North Carolina, Andrea has held multiple roles in the development of more than 30 humanities and faculty development databases. With a B.A. in philosophy and German from Hamilton College and an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Michigan, Andrea believes you can study Nietzsche and still find a job.

Hayley Harris
Sales Director, International
Hayley joined Alexander Street Press in 2006 and been in publishing sales since 1997 – academic, trade, and electronic.  Working for Waterstone’s, Palgrave-Macmillan, Chadwyck-Healey/ProQuest, and Talis has given her a wealth of experience within the library market.  Hayley’s creative, innovative, and proactive approach to selling and excellent rapport with customers and colleagues has led to successful solutions for libraries within the academic and public sectors on local, regional, and national levels within the
UK and Ireland.  She received her B.A. in English Secondary Education with Coaching Certification from St. Olaf
College in Northfield , Minnesota , U.S. in 1995 and participated in St. Olaf’s Junior Year Abroad program at Lancaster University , England in 1993/1994.

Isabel Lacerda
Rights Editor
Isabel Lacerda has over 20 years of experience in the publishing business. She has been a partner/owner of Editora Nova Aguilar, one of the most respected publishing houses in Latin America. Isabel studied literature at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, and publishing at New York University. Now based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she is in charge of securing rights with authors, publishers, agents and collection holders, while also developing products and deepening the company's presence in the Latin American marketplace.

Tim Lloyd
Chief Operating Officer
Tim was previously co-founder and CEO of Classical International, the digital music start-up behind the groundbreaking Classical Music Library service. His experience in digital music publishing parallels the development of this new industry, and builds on a professional career working in and advising media and telecommunications companies in the United States and Europe looking to deliver new media services to their customers.

Steven Martin
Sales Representative
Steven's sales career began at the age of 19; he sold life and health insurance for John Hancock. He began to work in the academic and public library markets in 1998, and he was the first sales representative to sell the online publication of The Journal Nature to academic libraries. Steven also helped Tim Lloyd introduce Classical Music Library to the academic and public library markets.

Don McCrae
Financial Advisor
Don has spent his career in a variety of roles in the publishing, financial, technical, and service sectors in Europe and North America. In addition to his position as Chadwyck-Healey Group's International CFO, he was responsible for the legal, production, and IT departments within the UK company. Don is currently CEO of Segmentis, a high-tech start-up, and he sits on the boards of a number of service and consulting companies.

Roger Press
Editorial Director
Roger worked at EMI Classics, where he won an EMMY award for the documentary "Itzhak Perlman in Russia." Later, he was director of the classical music video division at PolyGram (now Universal Music). After several years at Pricewaterhouse Coopers in the Entertainment and Media consulting division, he founded Classical Music Library with its focus on delivery of music services to libraries.

Ron Rietdyk
Chairman
Ron has extensive experience in the information industry. He was President and one of the founders of SilverPlatter Information, Inc., where he grew the company to more than $70 million. He is also founder of ScanLaser, one of the first companies to engage in electronic printing. He currently serves on the boards of a variety of companies.

Mary Siegel
Senior Sales Manager
Mary has more than 15 years of sales and marketing experience in publishing – from trade books to electronic content. For the past 9 years, she has worked with academic libraries and groups of all types and sizes across North America, with a specialization in consultative sales to top-tier libraries and large consortia. Mary has been with Alexander Street Press since the company’s first year and worked with the Alexander Street management team for the previous four years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Colby College and a Master’s degree in teaching from Boston College.

Maura Walz
History Editor
Maura is a graduate of the University of Chicago, where she earned a bachelor's degree in political science. Before joining Alexander Street Press in 2006, she worked in the Rights and Permissions department of the University of Chicago Press, and has provided research and support for a variety of media productions in Illinois and Virginia. 

Will Whalen
Vice President, Editorial
Will has more than 10 years of experience in electronic publishing.  He is a graduate of James Madison University , where he received a degree in English literature, and of Catholic University, where he earned a masters of fine arts degree in playwriting. Will worked at the former Chadwyck-Healey company, where he served in a variety of editorial and project management roles, including sourcing, finding rare materials, data conversion, and microfilming.

Jenni Wilson
Sales Manager
Jenni first began working with libraries in 1992 as an assistant librarian in Pennzoil’s geology and petroleum engineering library. She then moved on to a career in sales and marketing where over the next several years she represented a number of periodical subscription agencies, primarily in the academic library market. Jenni holds a bachelor of arts degree in English from St. Mary’s College and a master’s degree in library science from the University of Illinois.
