The 2012 Convention theme is I nuovi alfabeti della biblioteca (The new alphabets of the library) and plans to analyse the cultural models and highly advanced service strategies which libraries are called upon to contend with and which derive from the spread of new languages favoured by the development of communication technologies and social transformation.
