Alexander Street to Bring Sony Pictures Classics Streaming Video and Academy Award® Winning Films to U.S. College and University Libraries
Alexandria, VA – Alexander Street announced today its exclusive streaming library agreement with Sony Pictures Classics. The arrangement will stream Sony Pictures Classics films to U.S. college and university libraries and faculty via Alexander Street’s Patron-Driven Acquisition (PDA) platform and also through single-title-streaming direct subscriptions. More than 300 Sony Pictures Classics titles, released from 1992 to 2015 are included in the agreement.
Alexander Street is honored to provide 300+ of these world renowned cinema titles to enliven library collections and learning environments for U.S. universities and colleges. Here are some highlights of the films offered beginning early 2017:
