Alexander Street Adds More Than 300 New BBC Titles to Its Offerings in 2017

Alexandria, VA – Alexander Street announced today that it added streaming access to over 300 BBC videos for college and university libraries and faculty via its Academic Video Online solution, plus key titles in its Patron-Driven Acquisition (PDA) program. Single-title-streaming direct subscriptions and perpetual rights are also available.

“The BBC is one of the most respected and trusted sources of educational content,” said Sarah Brennan, video product manager at Alexander Street. “It has a long-held reputation for releasing world class documentary programming, featuring the highest levels of rigorous editorial and production standards. This addition to our already strong offering from BBC will provide classrooms with current content, some published as recently as 2016, in a wide variety of disciplines, such as science, health, environmental studies, sociology, history, political science, business, and economics.”
